When can I receive the confirmation?

Shortlisted candidates might be invited for an interview.​ Successful applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail by June 2025.

How much is the tuition and application?

Tuition fee should be paid by within 2 weeks after confirmation. All payment received are non-refundable

Admission

Who should attend?

  • Doctors, nurses, allied health, public health professionals and executives at senior levels and working in public or private healthcare sectors in the region.

  • Health system academics
     

Admission Requirements

  • Graduated from a recognised university and obtained a Bachelor's degree, generally with honours not lower than Second Class; or
    Graduated from an honours programme of a recognised university with a Bachelor's degree, generally achieving an average grade of not lower than "B" or

     

  • Obtained a degree from a university in Hong Kong or taken a degree programme of which the medium of instruction was English; or
    Achieved scores in the following English Language tests as indicated:
    i. TOEFL: 550 (Paper-based)/79 (Internet-based);
    ii. IELTS (Academic): 6.5;
    iii. GMAT (Verbal): Band 21; 

    Notes: TOEFL and IELTS are considered valid for two years from the test date. GMAT is considered valid for five years from the test date.

Application form and supporting documents should be submitted by email or by post. Insufficient supporting documents will delay the application process.

Applicants should read the “Notes for Applicants” before submit application. ​

Complete application form, and post the below documents to Room 202, 2/F, School of Public Health, Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin, N.T. Hong Kong (HSL 2025)

By Internet:

Complete online application form, email the below documents to healthadmin@cuhk.edu.hk and post the application fee cheque (local only)

  • Documents should be submitted (*mandatory)

    • Photocopy of Bachelor or above Graduation Certificate(s)*

    • Photocopy of Qualification Certificate(s)*

    • Recommendation letter

    • Personal statement indicating your background and interest in the Programme*

    • Recent Photo

    • (For Local) Photocopy of Identity Card*

    • (For Local & By post) HK$100 Cheque Application fee payable to "The Chinese University of Hong Kong" (Please write your name, contact number and "Application fee for HSL" at the back of the cheque)

    • (For Non-local) Photocopy of Passport and Citizen ID Card*

    • (For Non-local) Curriculum Vitae*
       

  • Shortlisted candidates might be invited for the interview.​​
     

  • Successful applicants will receive a confirmation. Programme fee should be settled within 2 weeks after confirmation.

The Programme reserves the right to cancel the course if the number of registered students is insufficient or for other unanticipated reasons.
